With FirePad you can manage directories, documents and programs centrally and provide data simultaneously to mobile tablet PCs at the emergency site. All the documents relevant to the current response (maps, site or floor plans, forms) can be read, printed, and forwarded so that quick action at the scene is possible. The global search function in particular simplifies navigation through complex directory structures.

FirePad documents the use of consumable materials, equipment and personnel during a response. Via a customized interface to the fire department‘s dispatch system, the documentation process is initiated and operation data are transmitted from the time of the incident alert.

FUNCTIONS

centralized data maintenance

Centralized administration and maintenance of response-related documents (site plans, hydrant locations, rescue cards, etc.) so that all information is available at the site and can be retrieved during the emergency response.

lightens the workload

All information is available at the site along with simultaneous documentation of fire department responses, including capture of consumable materials, equipment and personnel during the response.

immediate invoicing

The captured assistance and fire reports are available in the Invoicing software as soon as the response is over. After a plausibility check, the services can be invoiced without delay.

favorites

The Favorites directory is a compilation of important documents that are generally or response-specific relevant. Documents can be stored temporarily in the Favorites directory so that the user can call them up easily and without delay and can switch from one document to another.

interfaces

Via a customized interface to the fire department‘s dispatch system, the time of the incident alert is transmitted directly to the mobile FirePad as the starting point for the documentation.  The system also offers a seamless connection to the Invoicing module for immediate billing. 

search function

With a simple click on the Search button, the user activates the function to search through directories, files and programs and thus maintain a clear overview.  A search can be made of all directories in the main screen or in a specific directory and all its sub-directories.
